Extra Cleaning Services in Bratislava: Building the Scope Task by Task

    AndyBy Andy25 August 2026Updated:25 August 2026No Comments7 Mins Read

Cleaning packages have a structural problem. They are assembled around an average property, and no property is average. A client with an immaculate flat and a catastrophic oven does not need a heavier package — they need one task added to a light one. That is the reasoning behind extra cleaning services in Bratislava from Shine Guards, where individual tasks can be attached to a main visit or ordered on their own.

How the À La Carte Model Works

Shine Guards presents Extra Services as a way to manage cleanliness and budget section by section. Individual tasks can be added to a main cleaning or ordered as a standalone service, from cleaning a microwave to ironing clothes.

The principle is that the scope is assembled rather than purchased as a block. A client keeps the tier that matches the general condition of the property and pays separately for the specific items that fall outside it.

This usually costs less than a tier upgrade. Moving from a maintenance clean to an intensive one adds the whole intensive scope to the bill; adding one appliance adds one published rate.

It also produces a more accurate result. Package logic tends to include things a particular client does not need and exclude the one thing they do, and neither problem is visible until the visit is over.

Extras are agreed before the work starts, not discovered during it. Nothing is added mid-visit and invoiced afterwards, which keeps the fixed-price principle intact.

Each item is quoted at a published rate, so the arithmetic can be done before the confirmation call rather than during it.

    Appliance Cleaning

Refrigerator cleaning inside and out is €35. This covers the interior surfaces, shelves and seals that a routine kitchen clean does not open, and it is one of the two items most often left for years.

Oven cleaning is €35. Baked-on carbon requires dwell time and the correct chemistry rather than effort, which is why it is the task most frequently abandoned halfway by households attempting it themselves.

Extractor hood cleaning is €35. The filter and the housing accumulate a grease film that reduces extraction efficiency, and a hood that is not drawing properly redistributes cooking residue across the whole kitchen.

Microwave cleaning is €22. It is the cheapest item on the list and the one that most reliably affects how clean a kitchen feels, because it is opened several times a day.

Booked together, these four items cover the entire kitchen appliance set. For a property that has not had them done in over a year, this combination often does more for the perceived cleanliness of the flat than an upgrade in cleaning tier would.

All four are included by default in Deep Cleaning, which lists comprehensive appliance cleaning — oven, dishwasher, refrigerator — as part of its scope. Ordering them individually makes sense when the rest of the property does not need the intensive tier.

    Cabinet and Storage Work

Kitchen cabinet cleaning inside and out is €28 per hour. Units accumulate crumbs, spilled dry goods and a film of airborne cooking grease on the inner faces of the doors, none of which is visible until the doors are open.

Bathroom cabinet cleaning, wiped down and disinfected, is also €28 per hour. Product residue and moisture make these units a hygiene item rather than a cosmetic one.

Hourly pricing suits this category because the work scales with the amount of storage rather than with floor area. A galley kitchen with four units and a large fitted kitchen with sixteen are genuinely different jobs.

The practical approach is to specify which units matter. Emptying and cleaning every cabinet in a fully stocked kitchen is a long job; doing the four that need it is a short one, and the client decides which.

Cabinet interiors are included in the Deep Cleaning tier, which covers all cabinets. As a standalone item they pair naturally with a move-in clean, when the storage is empty and fully accessible.

    Laundry and Wardrobe

Ironing is €28 per hour. For households where the actual bottleneck is laundry rather than floors, attaching ironing to a regular visit changes the value of the service more than any additional cleaning would.

Folding and organising a wardrobe is €28 per hour. It sits between cleaning and organisation, and is most often booked at seasonal changeovers when summer and winter clothing swap places.

Both are billed hourly because the volume is entirely client-specific and cannot be estimated from the property. The manager will ask roughly how much there is during the confirmation call.

Ironing is also part of the Full-Scale Cleaning scope, which lists clothes ironing among its inclusions. As an extra it exists for clients who otherwise only need a maintenance visit.

Where a property is a short-term rental, ironed linen is a presentation item rather than a domestic one, and hosts frequently attach it to the turnover for that reason.

    Urgent and Occasional Extras

Urgent cleaning with dispatch within two hours is €30 per hour. This is the Last-Minute Cleaning option, used when a viewing, a guest arrival or an inspection appears with no notice.

Balcony and basement cleaning are available as additional services. Both are spaces that fall outside every standard package because they are outside the living area, and both accumulate steadily for exactly that reason.

Window washing is available as a standalone service covering glass inside and out, frames and windowsills, and can be attached to any tier rather than triggering an upgrade.

Interior window washing is already contained in Full-Scale Cleaning and exterior washing in Deep Cleaning, so the standalone booking is for clients whose property does not need either tier.

The general rule for deciding: if one or two items fall outside the tier you need, buy them as extras. If four or more do, the higher tier is probably cheaper.

    How to Order Extras

Submit the request through the form on the Bratislava page with name, phone number, address and availability, listing the specific extras in the comments field.

A manager responds within roughly 30 minutes to confirm the property parameters, the extras and the timing, then fixes the price. The agreed figure does not change after the work is done.

Extras can be ordered as a standalone visit without a main cleaning, which is the right approach for a single item such as an oven or a set of windows.

The specialist arrives with all equipment and products. If a client has allergies or prefers their own products to be used, this is arranged in advance with the manager.

Payment is taken after the service in cash, by card or by cashless transfer, and the manager follows up afterwards. Anything not done correctly is corrected without an additional charge.

Where to Check Rates and Book

The Extra Services page for Bratislava, along with the three cleaning tiers, window, post-renovation, move-in / move-out and Airbnb cleaning and the online cost calculator, is published at https://www.shineguards.com/bratislava/. Rates and scope are listed per service.

New clients receive a 10% welcome bonus on a first order, and an additional bonus applies for an Instagram or Google review — 5% off a cleaning for a tagged Instagram Stories video review kept up for 24 hours.

Direct contact runs through +43 1 442 10 36 and [email protected], with WhatsApp and Telegram on +43 681 20873649. The contact centre works Monday to Friday 09:00–18:00 and at weekends 10:00–16:00.
